Job Description
Manage and drive safety across multiple divisions. Hybrid role between the site and office. Excellent team and support around you. Full-time, permanent, Canberra-based role. $80,000 – $100,000 + Super + Company Vehicle.

We're looking for a Safety Advisor / Manager to join a high-performing team! This is an opportunity to move up into a management role where you can have a real effect on the safety culture. You will be working on challenging commercial projects which can often be in the public eye, with nationally-known clients and multiple trades on site at the same time. The Responsibilities
Creating Safety Policies:
Develop rules and guidelines to keep the workplace safe.
Risk Assessment:
Identify potential hazards and risks on site.
Training Employees:
Teach staff about safety procedures and protocols.
Conducting Inspections:
Regularly check sites for safety compliance.
Investigating Incidents:
Look into accidents or near misses to prevent them from happening again.
Communicating Safety Information:
Keep everyone informed about safety issues and updates.
Maintaining Records:
Keep track of safety data, incidents, and training records.
Promoting Safety Culture:
Encourage a culture where safety is a top priority for all employees.
The Requirements
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
3-5 years' experience in a Safety Officer role on construction projects
Willingness to be "hands on"
