Safety Advisor

Health, Safety & Environment (Construction) JRM Resources Pty Ltd is a progressive, privately owned Western Australian business located in the Peel Region with projects running in the Civil, Mining, and Forestry industries.
We currently have an immediate start opportunity for a Safety Advisor to join our projects team in the Peel and Boddington regions of Western Australia.
This role would suit individuals living in the Mandurah or Pinjarra Western Australia region as weekly travel to various sites will be required.
Key Responsibilities: Efficiently coordinate WHS activities on site in a professional and timely manner.Maintain a strong presence in the field or workplace, offering support to workers, supervisors, and managers.Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures.Contribute to maintaining, recommending, and implementing continuous improvements of WHS programs.Support and facilitate incident investigation processes.Implement safety plans and report on progress against key objectives and outcomes.Assist supervisors with injury management and return-to-work processes.About you: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Safety Advisor in a related industry.Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety.Strong understanding of relevant safety legislation.Proficient in safety investigation techniques.Solid knowledge of risk management principles and their practical application.Good knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation and process is desirable.Ability to work autonomously.What we offer: A supportive and collaborative work environment.Company-provided vehicle, with the benefit of being home every night.JRM Resources Pty Ltd is an equal opportunity employer, we encourage all suitably experienced candidates to apply.
