As a key member of the Health and Safety team and reporting directly to the ANZ Safety Environment Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor to work alongside a high performing team, supporting Site leaders to develop and foster a healthy and pro-active safety culture.
Key Aspects of the role: Partner with line management to increase their understanding and delivery of their responsibilities for health, safety, wellbeing, injury prevention, risk reduction & environmental impactPromoting safe working behaviour, mitigating risk to employees' general safety & wellbeingContribute to the development and planning of annual HSE plans, ensuring site high/ critical risks, regulatory and stakeholder requirements are metCo-ordinate hazard/ risk management & tracking/ reporting systems; ensure risk registers are current and reviewed regularlyProvide regular reports on the status of Risk Management to the ANZ Leadership teamsUndertake risk assessments/audits/incident investigations as requiredContinual improvement of Primary procedures and Safety Management SystemsDeveloping training packages and toolbox talks for both the delivery and foundation for operational safety teams to utilise
The ideal applicant will bring 5-7 years' experience in a safety role within an industrial environment, preferably with onsite experience in manufacturing.
About You: Hold a minimum Diploma in WHS with desired qualifications in Training & AssessmentExperience undertaking incident investigations and auditsStrong relationship management skills with the ability to train, influence and motivate othersDemonstrated knowledge of safety legislation & requirementsProven experience leading onsite safety cultureTech savvy and process oriented with the ability to adapt to new systems easilyStrong and professional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate with tact and diplomacyThis would suit a results oriented self-starter that is keen to expand on their experience in a stimulating and satisfying working environment.
