The Role The purpose of the Safety Advisor role is to support operations in all aspects of health and safety for the Phosphate Hill site.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Being present in the operating areas, interacting, coaching, and educating personnel on safety and healthCoaching leaders to carry out effective investigations into incidents and reported hazardsEnsuring all safe work systems, procedures, and standards are adhered to through frequent inspection of the workplaceAttending, leading, and taking part in daily meetingsReviewing documents and updating where requiredDeveloping and delivering safety coaching programs, ad hoc safety improvement programs, and incident reduction projectsWhat you'll bring Ideally, we would love to see you come from a chemical, mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment.
• You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture
• Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or greater
• Prior training in Incident Investigations
• Great communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
• Strong knowledge and understanding of cultural and behavior-based safety principles
• Ability to learn new software systems

The facilities comprise of ammonia, beneficiation, phosphoric acid, granulation, and sulphuric acid plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation, and housing to support the permanent workforce.
