FGJV has awarded Tunnelling Solutions to complete the construction works of three nominated tunnels (including cross passages) for the main carriageways of the Coffs Harbour Bypass Project including site establishment works, drilling and blasting, excavation and support, waterproofing membrane installation, permanent lining works, tunnel painting, drainage excavation works, and finishes between each tunnel to portal face, and all associated works:

Job Duties Provide safety / operational direction to the workplaceWork with HSEQ Manager and Project Manager to ensure all TS and project KPIs are met (per IMS and project KPIs)Develop and facilitate educational and compliance programs for employees, clients, contractors, and visitorsParticipate in WHS / Leadership meetings, providing input to improve and enhance site safetyDevelop, implement and review SOPs, SWMS, policies, procedures and supporting systems, ensuring all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and standards are metWork with key stakeholders (TS Senior Leadership team, Joint Venture staff members, JV Safety Advisor, client etc) to execute full responsibility of project safetyFacilitate and promote sharing of safety improvements, and reportingMaintain and support consistent visible safety leadership presence onsite through inspections, audits, observations, safety walks and via consultative activities (HSR mtgs, toolbox, pre-start)Maintain accurate records and ensure that the workplace has the tools to meet its regulatory and legal obligationsComply with TS Integrated Management Systems, Policies, Procedures and Code of PracticeOther accountabilities may be added in accordance with the changing requirements of this roleRequirements Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalentSafety Lead Auditor QualificationBroad knowledge of the full range of safety activities and requirementsIn depth knowledge of legislative requirements and Australian standardsAbility to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to ProjectsKnowledge of risk management procedures and processesDetailed knowledge of procedural and high risk activity auditing compliance and reportingAbout Tunnelling Solutions Tunnelling Solutions are experts in tunnel planning and construction.
