About the Role As the Safety Advisor on the iconic Waterfront project, you will provide support, coordination and advice of HSE practices, systems and procedures. Responsibilities of the role include; Ensure the safety of any subordinates and ensure their compliance with establishing safety policies, procedures and practices Analyse safety problems and recommend solutions to the HSEQ Manager Conduct routine and regular HSE inspections, monitoring and analysis of work areas Conduct investigations of site accidents and incidents that may require litigation Create, evaluate and administer safety programs for all employees What we are looking for; Diploma Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent Cert IV in Environmental Management Prior experience in a Safety Advisor role within the Construction industry Experience in supporting stakeholder groups and teams within area of responsibility such communicating with frontline employees and first line managers Ability to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and development skills as well as monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects As part of the team, you can help us transform lives.
