About the Role: Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, we are seeking a dedicated Safety Advisor with a strong focus on Return to Work (RTW). In this pivotal role, you will oversee and manage RTW processes, ensuring employees return to a safe and supportive work environment. You will also contribute to the broader safety strategy while advising retail and head office teams on Workers' Compensation, OHS best practices, and compliance with Return to Work legislative requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Manage workers compensation claims and support injured workers to return to workWork collaboratively to develop strategies that have a long-term focus, based around injury management, injury prevention to achieve safe, sustainable and timely return to work outcomes for injured workersProvide guidance and support to operational teams to maintain a safe workplace Support development of safety system and implementation of new initiativesDevelop toolbox talks and safety alerts to share with the networkPartner with operations team to investigative incidents and develop action plans About you: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a WHS role and/or Return to Work Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in the application of health and safety legislative and understanding current legislation within each State NationallyExperience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and safety audits Accredited RTW Coordinator certificateStrong attention to detailBackground in Retail (Highly Advantageous)Ability to travel to stores and other locationsIf you believe this career opportunity sounds like the perfect fit for you, APPLY NOW
