Safety Adviser | South Side | $150Ml Project

CGC Recruitment are working with a National Tier 2 Contractor/Builder who primarily focus on Building and Civil Infrastructure upgrade within the Rail corridor.
They are growing rapidly in SE QLD and have recently secured x3 Infrastructure Upgrades for key Government clients.
They are growing rapidly in SE QLD, targeting projects up from $5-300ml and due to this growth have identified a need for a Safety Adviser to join the business and work on a $150ml Transport Infrastructure Upgrade.
The Role   As Safety Adviser you will be the boots on the ground for the implementation of Site Safety across the project and key responsibility will include;   Pre Starts talks Toolbox talks Good communication skills Working in with a fast paced team, high performer.
Extensive knowledge of WHS act Experience in infrastructure projects, rail structures Perform safety inspections Proficient in IT (Microsoft, excel, etc) To be efficient in IT Construction Management Software - Simpel Inductions Plant onboarding Competencies SWMS reviews The role will offer the right applicant a chance to work on a project which is changing the landscape of transportation in SE QLD and is a long term permanent role offering stability in SE QLD for the next 3 years and beyond.
The scope of works is both challenging and complex including; demolition, bulk excavation, rail re-alignment, electrification, structures and building works.
