My client, a distinguished Health, Safety and Occupational Hygiene consulting practice with a national footprint, is looking for a Work Health and Safety Consultant for their Melbourne operations, with prior work, health and safety consulting experience.
About the role: This business has an established footprint in Brisbane and Sydney and will see the successful candidate impact the success of the Victorian operations by establishing a strong presence in the Melbourne market through extensive business development efforts and winning HSE client projects. If you have an established network of industry contacts in Melbourne and are known for your great consulting work in HSE/Occupational Hygiene, this could be a great opportunity for you to take the next step in your career.
What you will need:
At least 3-5 years HSE consulting experience in a Work, Health and Safety consultancy. A track record of success in servicing work, health and safety client projects. You will enjoy being in a client-facing role, a natural at business development and can pitch and price HSE project work with confidence and ease. If you are currently working for a HSE consultancy or working as a solo HSE consulting practitioner but would like to be part of a team working on larger scale HSE projects, then this could be a good fit. Great financial rewards and STI's on offer. You are not afraid of working in a fast-paced and competitive industry, drawing on your extensive knowledge of health, safety, and/or occupational hygiene. You will lean on your industry networks and connect with safety leaders who need to solve problems for their businesses.
Education: Diploma qualified and certified in occupational health and safety, or occupational hygiene. At least 5+ years experience in a Consultant or at a Senior level in a Work, Health and Safety consulting role.
