The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Safer Streets Patrol Officers. In this role, you'll work alongside local law enforcement to enhance public safety and reduce anti-social behaviour in our city's public spaces.
Duties Key responsibilities include: Conduct regular patrols across the city to monitor and enforce local laws. Collaborate with Police to address crime and anti-social behaviour. Engage with community members to foster positive relationships and promote safety. Report incidents, monitor suspicious activity, and assist in emergency response. Support security at city events and during critical recovery periods. Who we are Looking for: To be considered for this position, you will need: Relevant qualifications in security, law enforcement, or a similar discipline. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Capacity to walk or stand for extended periods. Current WA "C" Class Driver's License, Senior First Aid Certificate, and a National Police Clearance.
