Reporting to the Safeguards' Team Leader and the HNELHD Mental Health Head of Discipline, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care, including:Comprehensive Care: Conduct general and specialist assessments, develop treatment plans, provide psychoeducation, and manage referrals and discharge planning using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate techniques.Trauma-Informed Practice: Plan and deliver trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate interventions for children and adolescents (0-17 years), collaborating with the Safeguards Team to ensure the highest standards of care.Clinical Expertise: Provide specialised knowledge and expertise to the team, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our mental health services.Note: This role involves a rotating roster, including weekend and afternoon shifts, as part of our afterhours clinical support.Where You'll Be WorkingBased in Wallsend, Newcastle NSW, you'll work in a supportive and compassionate environment dedicated to delivering assertive outreach to children, young people, and their families.
