We're seeking a Safeguarding Officer & Investigator to join our client's Clinical Governance and Supervision team and play a vital role in promoting a commitment to safeguarding across all levels of their work.
As a Safeguarding Officer, you'll be integral to maintaining and championing safeguarding practices, ensuring that protection and support for those in need remains at the forefront.
$115-129k + super + salary packagingTravel required across ACT/NSWBirthday off and additional paid leave over Christmas!Mobile and laptop providedThis role will involve; Offer guidance and training to staff, enhancing safeguarding knowledge and implementation.Conduct thorough investigations into safeguarding allegations, support compliance, and drive continuous improvement in safeguarding protocols.Facilitate training programs across different organisational levels to maintain a high standard of safeguarding practices.Participate in quality checks, internal audits, and risk assessments, ensuring best practices across safeguarding operations.Liaising with senior management teams and external governing bodies.They are looking for candidates with intensive investigations experience in a sector related to vulnerable populations. The requirements for this role include; Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in safeguarding, child protection, or law enforcement.Investigative skills with an understanding of report writing, compliance, and risk management.Experience conducting investigations, report writing and requirements of ACT Ombudsman and NSW OCG in relation to safeguarding.Strong communication abilities and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.Current WWCC (NSW) & WWVPC (ACT).Current drivers licence.Why partner with abrs to secure your next role?
