The Safe Staffing Levels (SSL) Administration Officer will support the work activities of the SSL Nurse/Midwife Manager in relation to the implementation of SSL across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). The position will work closely with the SSL Nurse/Midwife Manager and existing administrative staff to provide a range of administrative/transactional services across the SSL team to enable the District to achieve its objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. Selection Criteria Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks in a demanding work environment. Experience in responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response. Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels. Ability to improve to contribute to improvements in administrative practices and procedures. Ability to use computer hardware, software applications, including database software, and electronic systems at a basic level. Demonstrated ability to work independently in performing routine administrative tasks and ability to work as part of team. Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
