Rex is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time solo flight attendants based in Perth. We are looking for people who are:
Independent and self-reliant: As solo Flight Attendants, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.Customer-focused: As a solo Flight Attendant, you will manage your own cabin and have the opportunity to provide a caring and personalised service, whilst travelling to some of Australia's most unique destinations.Detail-oriented and safety-conscious: You will need to manage in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.The role offers a great work/life balance along with competitive remuneration. It includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work (which includes early starts & late finishes), and some nights spent away from home.
Some of the duties you will perform include equipment/security checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food & beverage service, cleaning duties, as well as handling various situations that may occur in the cabin, on your own.

Be 18 years of age or overHave Australian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyBe no taller than 173 cmHold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol CertificateBe able to demonstrate that you have:Completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, orWorked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, orWorked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, orCompleted the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security checkHave experience in customer serviceBe able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (a swim assessment is required)Be flexible; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periodsHave a high level of personal presentationHave a natural willingness to please and care for peopleExtensive training will be provided; flying experience is not required.
