About the Home Holly is conveniently located close to the southern end of the Southern Expressway, with the Onkaparinga River National Park close by. The home is situated on the bus route to Colonnades Shopping Centre less than 5kms away and connected by other transport routes to the wider metropolitan area.
About the Opportunity Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our team on a casual basis with permanent part time possible in the future. We have a variety of shift on offer including weekend work which will attract penalty rates !
Assist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to residentsDishwashing, clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents roomsDelivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residentsMonitoring of food quality, quantity and reporting of any issuesGeneral cleaning services of resident's rooms and public areas around the home to a high standard, such as removal of rubbish, cleaning bench tops, mirrors, handrails, basins etc.Maintaining adequate supplies of cleaning materialsMaintaining accurate recordsTo be successful you must demonstrate the following: Basic Food Safety Practices CertificateAged Care or Hotel experience in Housekeeping/Cleaning & LaundryExcellent attention to detailSound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)Knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes, standards, systems and equipmentWhat We Can Offer Salary PackagingOngoing Training and CoachingAllity Central - range of employee benefits & discountsEmployee Assistance ProgramPlease note: Our recruitment process involves the completion of a national police check Are you ready to make every day the best it can be?
