As a Senior Business Consultant at Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality operational leadership and governance across the Directorate's business support services. Working closely with Finance Business Partners, you will ensure that the Directorate's operations align with SA Health priorities, government policies, and industry best practices. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment to deliver safe, effective, and legally compliant services, while also driving continuous improvement across CALHN's operational plans.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead, mentor, and provide strategic direction to teams delivering essential business support services across CALHN. Your leadership will help shape and implement policies that ensure consistent and high-performing outcomes, whilst maintaining a strong focus on quality customer service and cost-effectiveness. You will also play an important role in staff development, promoting training and professional growth within the Directorate. As a senior leader, your expertise will be vital in advising on best practice solutions, ensuring that CALHN's business support services are always evolving to meet the needs of the health network.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a mix of qualifications, experience, and personal attributes that will enable you to lead and drive change within CALHN. Key requirements include:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Economics or related discipline, or working towards completion. Proven leadership experience, with a strong track record in managing staff and driving policy and procedural changes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work autonomously. About CALHN
