Department for Health and Wellbeing – Commissioning and Performance – Sustainable Health Salary: $121,107 to $125,679 – ASO8 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 18 Months The Department for Health and Wellbeing is looking for a Principal Health Insights Analyst to join a growing multi-disciplinary team analysing and developing strategic solutions to complex health system challenges. The team works together across multiple projects and agencies and requires skills in agility, critical thinking, and genuine curiosity.
Overview
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Projects and Policy, The Principal Health Insights Analyst will:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyse data, identify trends, and develop recommendations to enhance health system effectiveness and efficiency. Work closely with the Director, Strategic Projects and Policy to support cross-divisional and interagency dialogue on system sustainability strategy. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of health system reform options. Provide research and analysis to support strategic decision making by the DHW Executive. Criminal History Screening Requirement
A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment). Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
