Women's and Children's Health Network, Sub Acute and Allied Health - 3D Health Access Assistant Program, Hilton (5033) Salary Classification - RN/M3 - Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 3 - $121,537 to $126,970 Full time - Term Contract (12-month contract) About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the 3D Health team as a Nurse Consultant - Manager , where you will be responsible for:
Coordinating and leading patient/client care delivery for continuity and quality outcomes. Providing clinical expertise and leadership for individual patients/clients or groups within a specialized area of practice. Managing and rostering the Access Assistant Program (AAP) nursing team to support students with complex health needs or disabilities in educational settings. Coordinating day-to-day services, including rostering, staff training, and collaboration with health professionals and educational representatives. Communicating effectively with families, government, and non-government educational sites. Ensuring accountability for nursing/midwifery practices, addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy, and fostering team performance and a positive work culture. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Registered Nurses with at least 3 years post registration experience. Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards and in at least one of the relevant following areas: paediatric, community, disability or complex health. Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation. Demonstrated ability in leading and promoting consumer engagement initiatives. Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.
