An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to join the Rex Airport Team as the Charter Coordinator.
This is a full-time role based in Adelaide. Reporting: This position reports to the National Airports Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities: Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and incident / injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the positionCoordinate FBO movements and act as the primary contact for the Adelaide Fixed based Operation (FBO) and the NJE operation in SAOversee freight charter movements and coordinate airport handling activities,Managing the end-to-end FBO charter process including acceptance, pricing, securing third party contractor services and coordination onsite for arrival and departing aircraftAssist with hands on Ramp, Catering and Customer Service training for Rex Group and third-party staff on a regular basisBe willing to travel to Rex Group Outports to conduct Ramp and Customer Service trainingBe proficient in all duties as a Leading Hand, ASO, Catering officer and Customer Service OfficerLiaise with other departments and suppliers to manage day-to-day matters including GSE serviceability, performing GSE checks, sourcing, maintenance schedules and testingAssist with interviewing and recruitment of new staffIn concert with the Rex Group & QF Safety Department, investigate any safety-related or dangerous goods issues and implement, or where appropriate recommend the implementation, of any corrective action or proceduresMaintaining accurate records of all FBO, NJE & Pel-Air activity for performance analysis and billing purposesPerform operational Ramp and Customer Service shift duties on a regular basis for the Rex GroupProvide administrative support to the Rex Group such as raising purchase orders, rostering, reviewing invoices, review and maintain stock levels etc.Assist with development of training and perform on-the-job training of staff (in liaison with Airport Services Ground Training Manager)Relieve the Ramp and Catering Manager and/or Airport Administration Assistant when requiredCoordinate and Organise FBO building maintenance and oversee/maintain the NJE terminal facilitiesThe nature of this role means that shift work, after hours and weekend work will be requiredSupport the Ramp Manager and Airport Manager in day to day operationsOther duties as reasonably requestedKey Selection Criteria: Conversant with major airport operations and regularity requirements.Proven ability to manage a high workload under pressure with changing priorities.Excellent Organisational skills.Ability to liaise with both internal and external customers effectively.High standard customer service and problem solving skills.Well-developed written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and to be self-motivated.High degree of computer literacy.Able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and ADA (Authority to Drive Airside)Conditions: Salary and conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.
