RWVP-E Senior Business Analyst-Test Analyst (358004)Department of JusticeCorporate, Strategy & GovernanceOffice of the CIOApplications must be submitted by Sunday 05 January, 2025 11:55 PM AEST.Award/Classification:Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 6$109,099.00 to $123,395.00 per annumEmployment type:Fixed-term, full-timeRegion:SouthLocation:RosnyThe Senior Business Analyst/Test Analyst will contribute to the successful delivery of the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Expansion (RWVP-E) project by providing domain specialist skills and knowledge through the coordination of system analysis, testing and quality assurance activities to deliver a new RWVP-E ICT system for the Department.Period of Appointment6 months.Hours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.DutiesCoordinate the test planning, test estimation, test status reporting, defect reporting, system testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing for each system.Prepare test plans and test cases for the system.Populate the test case management application with comprehensive tests that can be carried out by staff to ensure user acceptance testing and regression testing has covered all functionality.Ensure that adequate testing is carried out for the system.Ensure that testing is as rigorous as possible within the capability of available resources.Participate in systems tests, facilitate and support user acceptance testing and manage reporting on test issues for each system.The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.A current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.Pre-employment ChecksThe Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
