The Project Officer will provide professional and proactive program management support and executive assistance to the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Expansion (RWVP-E) program. The role will support the Project Manager(s) and the broader project team to ensure the overall success of the program, which includes a system replacement and an overall expansion of the current RWVP Scheme.

DutiesManage the detailed planning, organising and coordination of administrative functions related to the RWVP-E Program, including the initiation and timely preparation of documents and reports of a confidential nature, monitoring the preparation of correspondence and referral of matters for comment or further action to the appropriate member of the Program Team.Administer the quality review and control process for the Program by monitoring, tracking and reporting on the status of program products to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are in line with approved plans.Prepare meeting papers and record of proceedings for key program governance bodies including but not limited to Steering Committee, Project Boards, Reference Groups and Working Groups.Establish and maintain the Program records (e.g., Document Management & administration on behalf of the Program).Administer the Program budget and manage Program resources (e.g., program expenses and related contracts).Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the project team, including diary management, managing internal and external emails, correspondence and briefing material; control of incoming calls and other administrative services to optimise timely and efficient outcomes.Assist with specific communications activity to support the delivery of the Program including development of material and related resources.The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying jobs at this classification level.A Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.Pre-employment ChecksThe Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
