Part Time, Fixed Term Contracts - Up to 3 years16 hours per fortnightNortheast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care, and community services.The Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing (RUSON) nursing framework allows Nursing Students to work one shift per week as an assistant to Nurses, providing delegated aspects of client care in accordance with the professional judgement of the supervising Registered Nurse and in accordance with the level of achieved educational preparation and assessed competence of the individual RUSON.
The employment is on a temporary basis while students are completing their studies.We are seeking dynamic part-time registered nursing students in their second year of study as part of our RUSON employment program.
Successful applicants will be keen to expand their nursing skills and gain invaluable experience by assisting to provide care to patients in our acute care settings.Applicants need to have the ability to learn a variety of skills and tasks in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to abide by NHW values and code of behaviour.RUSONS will be able to work extra shifts if they are available.Benefits:Competitive remuneration, novated leasing, and full salary packaging benefits available.
