A job to be proud of: St John WA is seeking a dedicated Rural and Remote Support Coordinator to join our Ambulance Operations team. This full-time, permanent role is based at our Belmont State Office.
Reporting to the Manager Operational Support, the successful candidate will play a vital role in providing administrative support to both the Manager Operational Support and the General Manager. The position focuses on ensuring the smooth coordination of operational matters, department activities, and the completion of outstanding administrative tasks.
What you'll do: Assist the Manager Operational Support with tasks related to KPIs, ensuring timely completion and escalating issues as needed.Organise and prepare meeting agendas for the department leadership team.Provide support in developing administrative systems and procedures.Support the Manager Operational Support in preparing new work processes to maximise the department leadership time.Support the department with correspondence, presentations, and reports; provide training and support to districts to achieve business objectives.Review and update department information on internal platforms.Perform ad-hoc tasks and project work as directed by the support manager.Provide business and administration support to all aspects of the department. This may include but not limited to:Finding and booking meeting rooms.Preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes to distribute to the team of action items.Collaborating with internal teams to organise flights, transport and accommodation for the department.Organising key team events & external events.What you'll need: Experience in administration supportRelevant tertiary qualification (desirable)Background in corporate, health, community or commercial based sectors (preferred)Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of systems, tools and process within the ambit of this position.Good problem solving and organisational skills.Strong accuracy and attention to detail, with demonstrated analytical skills.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suites (particularly Word, Excel Outlook and PowerPoint)Strong work ethic and highly self-motivated with an ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.What's in it for you?
