About the role We are looking for a Rural Products Sales Representative to join our close-knit Dalby team on a permanent full-time basis. You will be joining a diverse team servicing the livestock, agronomy, insurance, financing, and rural products needs of our clients.
As a Rural Products Sales Representative, you will enjoy the diversity of working across our merchandise store and delivering products to our clients. Your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new product opportunities for them to explore. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.
Responsibilities Build strong client relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and provide expert rural product advice.Manage stock levels, ensure accurate inventory records and optimise product availability.Coordinate and assist with the storage, handling, receiving, and dispatching of stock.Contribute to branch targets, optimise processes, and maintain a safe working environment.Accurately quote and process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and invoicing.Ensure effective stock control measures, including regular stock takes and rotation.About you Previous experience in rural products sales.Strong understanding of agricultural seasonal fluctuations, products, and market trends.Proficiency in using the Microsoft suite and operating POS systems.Current HR license, forklift license, and Agsafe accreditation (or willingness to obtain).Passion to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and future clients.About Elders As a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
