Job DescriptionThis role is perfect for a Rural Generalist/GP Obstetrician looking to join a team-oriented clinic and hospital network with excellent earning potential and robust clinical support. The clinic offers diverse experiences, including a one-in-four obstetric roster, ED, and ward shifts at Port Lincoln Hospital, a 48-bed regional facility handling approximately 300 births annually.
Physicians can expect a guaranteed share of around 160 births per year, with significant procedural experience available. For those seeking advanced obstetric skills, training pathways to diplomas in C-sections are accessible. GP's wanting to train in obstetrics are welcome to train in-house and gain valuable clinical exposure.
Current team includes:
12 consulting rooms with capacity for additional GPs4 GP anesthetists3 GPs1 GP obstetricianRegistrars supported by a proactive Practice ManagerShifts at Port Lincoln Hospital include ED and ward duties, with weekly retainers of $5000 and procedural incentives, significantly increasing income potential.
