Overview of role:
As a Rural Customer Support Officer, your primary responsibility is to manage and support our rural customers, especially during the Rural Channel season from October/November through to mid-May. You will oversee channel ordering, water delivery, rostering and manage any operational issues that arise during the season. Outside of this period, you will continue to support the Rural Customer Coordinator while assisting the broader Customer Support unit and providing valuable contributions to our Contact Centre and Customer Care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver timely, thorough, and consistent customer support, with a particular focus on our rural customer base.Investigate and resolve all types of customer enquiries, prioritizing first contact resolution.Provide additional support to the Contact Centre and Customer Care team as required, including assisting with projects.Help identify business improvements and implement risk control measures across all areas.Contribute to maintaining a safe workplace and promoting a sustainable environment.To be considered for the role you'll have substantial work experience in customer support or a related field, coupled with qualifications equivalent to a Certificate III/IV or secondary education with relevant vocational training. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer-first mindset are key to succeeding in this role.
Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 2, $62,475- $72,897 plus superannuation. The salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
