About Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is a regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) dedicated to advocating for and supporting member services across the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Established in 1986, KAMS plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive health services, regional population health programs, and education in Aboriginal health, ensuring culturally appropriate care for Aboriginal communities.

Position Overview The RTO Administration Support role is essential in supporting student activities and resources within KAMS RTO.
You will play a critical part in building capacity in the Aboriginal health workforce and ensuring that all training resources and student support services are efficiently managed.
This position is based in Broome, WA, and is a unique opportunity to work within a smoke-free organisation committed to promoting health and wellbeing.
Your Profile We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who shares our commitment to improving Aboriginal health outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following: A local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person with strong community connections.
Understanding of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) or willingness to learn.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
A commitment to continuous quality improvement and assurance.
Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
Experience in an Aboriginal Medical Service, Registered Training Organisation, or the ACCHO sector, along with a Certificate IV in TAE, will be highly regarded.
Salary & Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $61,155 to $64,329, complemented by an accommodation allowance of $7,800, an electricity allowance of $1,440, a district allowance of $2,920, and an annual airfare allowance of $1,285 after 12 months of service.
