RTO Administration OfficerFull-time TemporaryDetails: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking applications from motivated and conscientious people to temporarily fill the RTO Administration Officer (ASO5) position within Operational Support.
As the RTO Support Officer, you will be responsible for a range of administrative functions and processes relating to training registration, preparation, co-ordination, and reporting according to organisational requirements and RTO compliance standards.
Successful applicants will provide a range of administrative support to the Unit, including co-ordination and scheduling of training programs, data entry, drafting basic correspondence, responding to enquiries, and undertaking less complex research.
Additionally, you will enter and maintain database student information, provide administrative support to ACTCS stakeholders during training programs, and develop and maintain records in accordance with the requirements of a Registered Training Organisation and the Territory Records Act 2002.
To be successful, you will need to deliver a range of student/client supports and demonstrate the ability to enter and maintain data in various systems to meet organisational and legislative requirements while working collaboratively with others to meet team and organisational goals.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.Knowledge of the record keeping and audit requirements of a Registered Training Organisation using VETtrak or similar, or the capacity to quickly gain that knowledge would be an advantage.To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS), you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa.If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated.Notes: This is a temporary position available from 27 February 2025 until 13 June 2025.
