The opportunity:As a Real Time System Control Specialist, we are seeking a skilled professional to offer subject matter technical expertise in the design, development, and configuration of complex IT and OT operational systems, including Energy Management Systems. The role involves identifying and developing business improvement opportunities related to IT and OT technology within high-performing control systems. In this role you will collaborate with Engineers, IT professionals, System Controllers, and other user stakeholders to implement solutions, ensuring compliance with Australian safety and regulatory standards.
The Real Time System Control Specialist will mentor and support technical experts, ensuring user-oriented outcomes and holistic business solutions. Developing strategies and high-level system configurations to manage cognitive overload for real-time operators and align with organisational objectives will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, participating in industry forums to guide the future direction of the network.
The people you'll join:Based in Brisbane, you will join our Real Time Network Operations group within the Operational & Service Delivery division, reporting directly to the Manager of Real Time Network Operations Enablement.
