Position Summary
Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and superannuation fund creation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of year end financial statements for various companies and trusts ranging from those listed on the ASX to small family owned businesses; Compliance with regulatory standards and preparing reports in line with the Australian accounting and auditing standards; Preparation of income tax returns, FBT returns, GST returns, BAS; Superannuation Fund creation, compliance, and wealth creation strategies; Preparation and lodgment of income tax returns for individuals and businesses; Proficient use of accounting and reporting software.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline (ideally a Business Commerce with an Accounting Major).

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:
Essential
At least two years experience in a related field; Strong communication skills; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Desirable
Previous work experience in Professional Services.
