We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Retirement Village Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 35 unit pet-friendly retirement village.
About the role: Oversee all operational aspects of the retirement village, including maintenance, safety compliance, and service delivery Build strong relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met and fostering a sense of community Manage the village budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial goals are achieved Ensure the village complies with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment In consultation with the residents, plan and execute social and recreational activities that enhance their quality of life About You: Proven experience in a management role, preferably within aged care, hospitality, or property management Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with the senior and veteran community Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards Ability to handle complex situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion Occasional travel as required to Villages within the region and to our office in St Leonards for meetings/training Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in a similar role Relevant tertiary qualifications in business management, aged care, or a related field an advantage First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain) RSL LifeCare offers a range of benefits: A supportive and inclusive workplace culture Not-for-profit tax benefits - salary packaging of up to $15,900 per year Staff discounts across 700 select retail stores through Maxxia Rewards Leave Loading - 17.5% pay top up on paid leave Professional development and training opportunities It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
