We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Retirement Village Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 35-unit pet-friendly retirement village.

About the role:
• Oversee all operational aspects of the retirement village, including maintenance, safety compliance, and service delivery
• Build strong relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met and fostering a sense of community
• Manage the village budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial goals are achieved
• Ensure the village complies with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
• In consultation with the residents, plan and execute social and recreational activities that enhance their quality of life
About You:
• Proven experience in a management role, preferably within aged care, hospitality, or property management
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with the senior and veteran community
• Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to handle complex situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
• Occasional travel as required: to Villages within the region and to our office in St Leonards for meetings/training
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business management, aged care, or a related field an advantage
• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
