RRETS is a Civil Engineering Consultancy specialising in Local Government, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, labour-hire and Asset Management. All our clients are based in regional, rural, and remote Australia. Due to our clients' massive demand, we aim to expand our operations in the labour-hire sector. The position will commence casually, which requires office-based work (work from home). There is a massive potential for the job to migrate to a permanent role and for the right candidate to become a vital member of the RRETS family.
We are growing our team and hiring for the Recruitment Consultant position. Multiple positions are available. The position of Recruitment Consultant is a casual (work-from-home) position offering a competitive remuneration on offer (negotiable depending on skills). We are open to providing PAYG or ABN contracts to suitable candidates.
The ideal Candidates will undertake both white and blue-collar recruitment; this includes recruiting Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Administrators, HSET Advisors, Bulk Earthworks and Workshop Supervisors, Mobile Plant Operators (Excavator, Grader, Dozer, Watercart, Truck etc..), Drillers Offsiders, HD Fitters, Utilities (Cleaners) etc.
The ideal Candidates will also undertake mobilisation to site processes, including booking pre-employment medicals, organising relevant training, inductions, and PPE, liaising with Site Administration regarding Client systems, flights, and accommodation bookings, and will be onboarding employees.
Responsibilities:
Taking job briefs from clients Creating advertising material specific to the role Liaising with candidates and clients Shortlisting and interviewing candidates Perform reference checks Business development via client and candidate generation Marketing to prospective clients Maintaining solid relationships & rapport with existing clients Responsible for the entire recruitment process from hiring planning to source to selection and day one readiness Managing and updating of internal database Developing and managing your client portfolio and sourcing the most suitable candidates Providing candidate quality advice on jobs and careers Providing recruitment and labour-hire solutions to clients Negotiating successful outcomes for both candidates and clients To be considered , you will have:
Relevant human resources qualification (Cert IV, Diploma or equivalent) - Desirable but not essential Generalist human resources experience to provide HR support as required, primarily in recruitment. Experience managing high-volume white-collar and blue-collar recruitment. Experience, exposure and expertise in relevant awards and legislation. A positive, proactive, collaborative attitude that builds strong relationships, rapport, and trust within the team and with external stakeholders. Experience mobilising to the site with a general understanding of Resources Client's systems and processes (Mobilisation processes will, however, be taught). A passion for recruitment. An understanding of current recruitment and marketing trends with the ability to stay abreast of them. External networking abilities. Experience sourcing candidates by identifying and using a variety of mediums, including LinkedIn, Seek, Indeed, headhunting, employee referrals, meetings, community partners and events. Experience in the implementation of new Human Resources Information Management Systems and ongoing management. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. High professional standards and ethics. Results-oriented.
