PROCUREMENT OFFICER An exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer has now become available in our team based in Shute Harbour.
Your Role As a Procurement Officer, you will provide support to the Strategic Procurement Manager in all aspects of an end-to-end tendering process. You are to assist with effective management of communication between all relevant stakeholders, ensuring stakeholders are actively engaged and their expectations are met or exceeded.
You will also have to be: Problem Solving with Commercial Acumen : Address procurement-related issues with a focus on problem-solving and a keen understanding of commercial dynamics. Effective Contract Management : Support in maintaining a robust Contract Management System to ensure timely action on critical dates, contractual obligations, and compliance, involving relevant stakeholders. High level ability to understand and negotiate commercial terms for contracting. Project Timeline Tracking : Create and implement follow-up strategies to track project timelines efficiently, ensuring smooth progress. Data Analysis and Reporting : Extract and analyze data from internal purchasing systems to provide insightful reports and recommendations. Stakeholder Relationship Management : Cultivate and sustain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, understanding their operational needs and procurement requirements.
