INVENTORY & SYSTEMS CONTROLLER – Shute Harbour Based Role Hamilton Island is looking for an Inventory and Systems controller to join their Shute Harbour based warehouse team. You will manage and effectively direct the control of replenishment and inventory systems required to support all Hamilton Island Enterprises general requirements, with a focus on Food and Beverage operations.
Your Role Manage and control the inventory system of items held within the Warehouse to service Hamilton Island requirements. Control and implement stock control procedures for all warehouse goods via respective Warehouse Teams. Examine and provide feedback to stakeholders determining appropriate stock holding requirements to meet customer demand. This includes EOM reporting on movement and monthly forecasting. Maintain an effective and current set of SOPs for line staff in relation to decrementation and stock control at the outlet level. Maintain and monitor beverage decrementation system for its correct and effective daily operation. Manage and conduct monthly stocktakes / Quality Assurance Coordination and procedures in the warehouse. Control and manage the effective roll out of new line items into the warehouse whilst minimising the effect of obsolete stock to the resort bottom line. Oversee the best practice in stock rotation and monitoring the shelf life of perishable goods. Monitor and update Finance 1 Catalogues as required to maintain System efficiency. Control and monitor pallet control and BOC management for the Resort. Analyse and report on weekly data and monthly stocktakes. Control site capacity planning and execution through effective strategic planning with internal stakeholders. Identify and implement processes to achieve this effectively. Ad-hoc projects as directed by the Purchasing Manager and Director- Logistics & Supply. About You You have a high level of personal presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. You are a team player with a positive attitude.
You will also have: Warehousing experience with system management proficiency. Minimum 5 years specific logistics experience across a range of operations (desirable). Understanding and working knowledge of ERP software, F1 (desirable). Intermediate to advanced level of expertise with all Microsoft Office suites. Previous pallet control experience (desirable).
