About the role:
The Manager, Operational Capability plays a pivotal role in ensuring Group Operations employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and capabilities to effectively service RACT members whilst maintaining compliance with Group, Industry and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Leading the RACT Group Operations Training Academy tasked with ensuring Group Operations employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and capabilities. Conducting comprehensive training needs analyses across Group Operations. Developing, implementing and maintaining Group Operations training plans supporting RACT's strategic objectives. Assessing ongoing business training requirements including identifying gaps in current training strategy. Ongoing review of training programs and materials to ensure compliance with relevant industry and regulatory standards. Track, measure and report upon the success and execution of training initiatives. Development, implementation and maintenance of the Group Operations induction program. Leading and developing a team of training consultants and coaches to effectively implement the Group Operations training strategy. Supporting RACT Transformation initiatives through the development and facilitation of relevant training. Maintaining appropriate training records including Authorised Representative registers. Successful candidates will have:
Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications (e.g. Cert IV in Training and Assessment). 3 – 5 years of demonstrated learning and development experience within a complex and highly regulated industry. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing training strategies and programs aligned with divisional and organisational objectives. Experience with learning management systems and optimising use of technology in learning and development. Experience leading a team of training professionals. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. At RACT, we're not just a workplace – we're a community.
