Description: Join our dedicated team as a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist in Paediatrics, where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
The Department of Paediatrics at Gladstone Hospital has a 9-bed General Paediatric Ward and a 4-cot Nursery. It's the hub centre for the Banana Shire accepting referrals in consultation with the Paediatrician and Retrieval Services Queensland (RSQ) for children and neonates who can be managed within the resources available.
About the role The SSS or SS provides a high level of paediatric services to the Gladstone Hospital, Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). Gladstone Hospital services are of the highest standard, delivered in an efficient and effective manner given available resources.
What we offer Total remuneration value up to $528,444 p.a., comprised of:
a salary between $210,332 - $244,313 p.a. (L18-L24) a salary between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a. (L25-L27) 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 17.5% leave loading plus many more exciting benefits Essential qualifications Mandatory qualifications: MBBS or equivalent registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
