The Head of Operations is a core role within the company reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The purpose of this role is to provide overall leadership of the Operational Group, covering data capture, processing and delivery, including providing strategic direction in order to meet company objectives, responsibility for the division's budget and management of all staff including over 1000 casual interviewing staff.
We are looking for a senior professional who has experience leading all facets of market research operations and whose values align with ours - Discovery and Excitement, Respect and Responsibility.
This position reports to the Executive.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Managing and directing the operational group to the highest efficiency and quality standards. Working in partnership with the Executive to plan and implement changes to production of our products in line with our strategic objectives. Providing financial, people and operational reports on performance of the division to the Executive group. Undertaking research into complex operational issues and providing advice and recommendations on alternatives and options that support service delivery and resolve operational problems. Collaborating effectively with other Executives to promote a 'Whole of Organisation' approach to change management and streamlining business processes. Management of supplier and partner relationships, contracts and contract negotiations. Ensuring operational budgets are kept to minimal cost. Required Skills and Experience: At least 10 years' experience working in senior operational management roles Ability to build and optimise highly efficient work teams and departments Demonstrated ability in managing departments to hit strategic and operational goals Experience working across operational functions preferably in the market research industry Understanding of current market research industry environment including technology and business trends Proven ability to manage and negotiate contracts and supplier relationships Excellent communications skills High level analytical and research skills If this sounds like you, we would love to have a chat!
