Competitive salary and three annual bonus schemes Multiple Benefits for all employees applicable to all facets of their life Free onsite parking at the Remote Operational Centre (ROC) About the role: The Technology Operations team is currently seeking a Specialist Software Asset Management to join them on a Monday - Friday Roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Manager Applications, you will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive framework for managing Roy Hill's Technology software assets. This encompasses entitlement information, commercial details, licensing models, license consumption, renewals, and budget management. The incumbent will drive SAM maturity by ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing software usage, and managing software inventory processes and tools to support the organization's operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Duties: Develop and implement SAM strategies, processes and procedures and metrics Collaborate with procurement, finance and legal teams to negotiate and manage software budgets and contracts Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements Conduct regular audits and reviews of software assets to maintain accurate inventory records Optimize software usage and licensing to reduce costs and improve efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define SAM ownership, standardization of processes and procedures Lead SAM initiatives and projects to improve SAM processes Monitor compliance with SAM standards and metrics Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in roles related to software asset management Experience with legal processes, contracts, software license agreements, financial and budgeting processes Experience in utilizing software asset management tools (ServiceNow, Flexera, SNOW) Experience in using SAP and reporting tools for purchasing processes Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders Experience in Mining or Resource Industry desirable but not essential Perth ROC Facilities: Free on-site parking at remote operational centre (ROC) Modern spacious office with break-out facilities In-house café providing variety of hot & cold food options and barista coffee Flexi Leave available to all Perth based office staff Flexible working hours outside of core business hours Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family About the Company: Roy Hill is a world-class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
