About the job We are seeking two skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as an ROV Net Cleaner Maintenance & Project Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing preventative and corrective maintenance to our fleet of remotely operated net cleaning units and associated equipment. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, traveling between sites as required to carry out maintenance work and support ongoing projects. The full-time positions offers a family-friendly, one roster being 2/2/3, and the other a 4/3 roster, based in our Channel Zone, conveniently located outside Margate and a 20-minute drive south of Hobart.
What does your week look like? Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on ROV net cleaning units and associated equipment. Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Traveling between sites to carry out maintenance work and support project activities. Collaborating with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times. What can you bring? Strong mechanical and hydraulic aptitude, with experience in troubleshooting and maintenance. Basic understanding of 12-24V electrical systems preferred. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites as required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
