The role supports the identification and implementation of strategic transformation initiatives and will be an active participant in determining the strategic direction of the route group's flight and market performance.
Facilitate the end-to-end process of implementing strategies, including an audit on outcomes to report to management.
Lead the development of high quality, accurate analysis of high value, high impact insights for inclusion in various senior management forums.
Ensure strong and effective two-way communication with stakeholders to support key commercial decision making, including pricing, inventory and network decisions, alliance relationships and sales initiatives.To be successful you will possess:Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytical roles or revenue management.Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Aviation, or a related quantitative discipline.Demonstrated expertise in scientific revenue management, with experience in airline Revenue Management considered an advantage.Exceptional conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex scenarios, develop solutions, and present findings in clear, accessible terms.Proficiency in statistics and forecasting techniques, with an interest in optimization, economic game theory, elasticity, and consumer buying behaviour.Adaptable and positive mindset, embracing and driving change while promoting innovative thinking and working methods.Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a high-pressure, analytical environment with shifting priorities and strict deadlines, while exercising sound business judgment.Professional and responsible attitude with a proactive "can-do" approach.Skilled at making independent judgments, assessing risks, and taking ownership of responsibilities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Why Qantas?You'll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
