The Pharmacy Department currently has
two (2) full-time, 18-month fixed term positions and one (1) full time, 12-month fixed term maternity leave cover position available.
The Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmacy services to clients and units of LRH as rostered and to supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Interns and students.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
Provide clinical pharmacy services to LRH with rotational opportunities in areas including general medicine, surgical, mental health etc.
Providing services in the dispensary and assist in coordinating the operations of the dispensary area.
Contribute to and assist planning and development of new programs, committees and services where appropriate.
Be involved in the achievement and maintenance of accreditation.
Participate in the development and education of staff including the opportunity to attend regular department continuing education sessions.
Provide education and information to groups.
Gain support from Senior Pharmacists and the Pharmacy education team including supported professional development with ClinCATS (Clinical Competency Achievement Tools).
