Rotating Mechanical Workshop Supervisor

For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at Lytton, and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams. 
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Rotating Mechanical Workshop Supervisor to join our team, at the Ampol Refinery. 
The primary objective for this role is to provide day to day supervision and manage the daily operations of the mechanical workshop. This includes ensuring the effective maintenance and overhaul of rotating equipment such as pumps and compressors, leading workshop improvement projects, and implementing 5S methodologies to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity.

To be successful in this role, applicant must:
Provide leadership and supervision of the mechanical discipline, ensuring the delivery of scheduled, planned and reactive maintenance in line with safety,Manage specialist services contractors to deliver maintenance plans as required,Participate in the effective planning, scheduling and coordination of preventative, non-routine maintenance activities, and ensure service objectives are met within the required timeframes,Lead Improvement programs.
