As a technical focal point for rotating equipment and auxiliaries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.Role OverviewAct as a technical expert for all rotating equipment and supporting systems, including gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, turbo expanders, compressor seal systems, diesel engines, and fire pumps.Develop health care, maintenance, and inspection strategies for offshore rotating equipment systems.Provide day-to-day and long-term technical support for rotating equipment to various departments, including Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Shutdown, and Strategic Engineering.Ensure that rotating equipment activities are given appropriate visibility and priority within the work management system planning cycle.Support the advance planning of rotating equipment maintenance scopes to ensure safe and efficient delivery to the facilities.Provide technical input for scheduled overhauls of rotating equipment.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations by conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner.Manage technical integrity deviations and plant changes associated with rotating equipment.Identify training opportunities for personal development and participate in the development process.Achieve goals set by the Engineering Team Lead and deliver measurable results within the agreed timeframe.Troubleshoot and investigate failures of rotating equipment.Ensure equipment is operated within limits to prevent failures.Skills & QualificationsIn-depth knowledge of rotating equipment and auxiliary systems in the hydrocarbon offshore or onshore environment.Experience with SAP PM, Turbo Machinery Monitoring Systems, Condition Monitoring Systems, BN3500, GE MKVIe, CCC.Proficiency in Microsoft Packages.Solid understanding of reliability engineering and predictive maintenance techniques.Ability to formulate maintenance strategies for rotating equipment in an operations environment.Extensive knowledge of CMMS systems, surveillance of rotating equipment, and integrity assurance.Familiarity with management of change processes.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.Education & ExperienceDegree qualified preferably as a chartered engineer.
Non-degreed personnel will be considered based on significant experience and demonstrated competency within the field.Minimum 5 years of experience in rotating equipment and auxiliary systems in the hydrocarbon offshore or onshore environment.Certifications in ITIL or relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous.Pay & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on qualifications and experience.Opportunity to work onsite at our facilities in Perth, Western Australia.Full-time contract position from 01-Jan-2025 to 31-Dec-2025.Unlock your potential with Airswift.
