Dorevitch Pathology is part of Healius' Pathology division, one of Australia's leading providers of private medical laboratory and pathology services. We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Each year, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia's largest and most complex private and public hospitals to small and remote Australian Aboriginal communities.About the RoleThis position is primarily responsible for creating accurate and efficient rosters for all Collectors and filling planned and unplanned vacancies across the Collector Network in a timely and appropriate manner. This is achieved through the utilisation of a computerised rostering system.Your Duties will include:Ensuring rosters within designated area are available at least six (6) weeks in advance of the current dateCreating and maintaining staff profiles in Workforce Dimensions and ensuring they accurately reflect position, hours, award, area, and shiftEnsuring timely and accurate data entry on WFD of any changes to shiftsEnsuring all updates or changes to rosters due to personal leave, shift swap requests or other unforeseen requirements are actioned in WFDEnsuring all communications are attended to in a positive and courteous manner providing accurate and appropriate information if requestedThe timely, accurate and appropriate management of vacancies within CollectionsMonitoring of casual employees: availability recorded, numbers of declined shifts and variability of areas/shifts workedEnsuring Reliever Collectors are utilised to the full extent of their contracted hours within the most efficient radius of their nominated hubWork closely and liaise with Commercial Team, and Collection Lead as soon as possible if vacancies cannot be filled or only partially filledAbout YouRelevant experience with electronic rostering systems, Kronos Work Force Dimensions idealSound knowledge and experience in health industryStrong communication skills, ability to adapt communication style based on the needs of the audienceProven ability to prioritise workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframesWorking knowledge of and the ability to apply Award conditions when shift rosteringBenefits and WellbeingAs part of working for Healius, you will have access to a range of benefits including:A marketplace of exclusive discounts and vouchers from leading Australian and online retailersCorporate health insurance discounts, banking benefits and novated leasing consultationsAn e-learning platform with access to a library of courses and learning pathsAn Employee Assistance Program dedicated to employee health and wellbeing provided by professional coachesFitness Passport – access fitness centres across Australia at a subsidised rateCareer growth opportunities across the Healius networkBeing a part of a large ASX-listed organization focused on delivering positive outcomes to all AustraliansOur commitment to diversity and inclusionHealius is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
