We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Rostering Officers to join our small rostering team to help provide exceptional customer service and facilitate client service delivery across all Lutheran Disability Services Operations.
This important role will specifically cover our after hours on-call rostering service , and play a pivotal role in helping LDS deliver outstanding services to our valued clients and LDS community to ensure a positive impact on service delivery.
Flexible role, across 7 days a week:
Minimum 20 hours per week – times may vary dependent of volume and demand
Hours and work pattern can be flexible
1-week on/1-week off rotational roster
5 - week's annual leave (pro-rata)
On-call allowance per SCHADS Award

About the role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful applicants will:
Liaise with the Client Services Manager to identify the skills and training requirements of the support workers so they are matched appropriately with the clients
Triage emergency calls to the appropriate managers after hours
Provide accurate and timely roster schedules to cover sick leave and other leave requirements
Assist rostering team in the coordination of employee rosters
Assist in the maintenance of shift changes and absenteeism to roster
Attend team meetings, training and other meetings as requested
Assist with email coverage from time to time
Communicate any leave requests to the Senior Rostering Officer
Ability to interpret the Modern Award and apply it to payroll and administration processes as required
Desired Skills and Experience About you:
The ideal applicant will have:
Experience in rostering, scheduling or coordination in a high-volume environment
Experience in the Not for profit, Disability or Community Sector desirable
Experience using Visual Care would be highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Be a natural problem solver
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to be professional and maintain confidentiality
NDIS/DHS Clearances
