Rostering Officer Permanent Full Time Home Care (based in Launceston or Hobart) Who we are One Care is a not-for-profit aged care organization, founded on the principles of compassion, respect and dignity for the individual.
We take a holistic approach to the provision of our services, treating each resident and consumer as a 'whole person' with regard to the design and delivery of their individual care and well-being.
We have a rich history and have been providing residential aged care for more than 40 years.
What we need A highly motivated Rostering Officer to join our friendly team! This position is a permanent full time position.
What will you do? As the Rostering Officer, you will have the opportunity to: Maintain the Home Care Support Roster across the state Ensure the roster is filled with appropriate staff Ensure any leave is replaced appropriately to ensure minimal disruption to clients Contact clients with any changes to rostered visits Provide general reception and administrative duties Attend meetings Manage incoming paperwork for relevant staff and clients Data entry and record keeping Respond to phone calls and emails appropriately Assist with other duties related to Home Care Rostering as requested by the Manager Home Care What you bring to the role Previous experience in rostering A sound knowledge of computers and Microsoft programs Excellent written and verbal communication Calm and professional manner Ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to work under pressure Can-do attitude and flexible approach Ability to work as part of a team A friendly, outgoing personality and a pleasant phone manner What you get in return Competitive remuneration with access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $18,550 per FBT year.
