Healius provides quality healthcare services that are easily accessible and cost-efficient while supporting the coordination and continuity of quality patient care.About the roleThis role is responsible for the management of a team of 12 Rostering Officers and the coordination of day-to-day operations, including accurate, timely, and efficient rosters for Collections across Metro and the Sunshine Coast. Over time, the team and areas looked after will grow, and you will work shifts from 5 am to 8 pm and be available for on-call.Responsibilities:Monitor and ensure that the Rostering team accurately enters data into WFD for shifts, changes, absences, overtime, and shift swap requests.Monitor and identify any process gaps, recommending improvement opportunities with recruitment, onboarding, and rostering workflows, and implementing changes with relevant stakeholders.Ensure the Rostering team posts rosters at least 2 weeks in advance.Ensure the Rostering team maintains a pristine roster that accurately reflects staff profiles, availability, hours, preferences, etc.Aim towards zero closures and filling all vacancies.Provide direction to the Rostering team, including decision making and problem-solving.Coach, support, and develop the Rostering team to excel and provide guidance on managing difficult situations or staff.Support, participate in, and implement any national initiatives including systems upgrades, legislative changes, projects, procedures, workflows, etc.Manage planned and unplanned closures and vacancies across the Collections network.Involve in national initiatives to improve and standardize collection rostering processes.About youPrevious experience in rostering or a similar role.Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).Ability to cope with short-term deadlines and manage competing priorities.Ability to work autonomously, prioritize workloads, multi-task, and meet strict deadlines.Proven experience with electronic rostering systems; WFD is ideal.Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style based on the needs of the audience.Proven ability to prioritize workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes.Working knowledge of and the ability to apply Award conditions when shift rostering.Benefits and WellbeingAs part of working for Healius, you will have access to a range of benefits including:A marketplace of exclusive discounts and vouchers from leading Australian and online retailers.Corporate health insurance discounts, banking benefits, and novated leasing consultations.An e-learning platform with access to a library of courses and learning paths.An Employee Assistance Program dedicated to employee health and wellbeing provided by professional coaches.Fitness Passport – access fitness centres across Australia at a subsidised rate.Career growth opportunities across the Healius network.Being a part of a large ASX-listed organization focused on delivering positive outcomes to all Australians.Our commitment to diversity and inclusionQML Pathology is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
