About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinician (RN) to join the Aged Care Leadership Team in the role of Clinical & Quality Advisor based at our Head Office in Burswood. In this key leadership role, you will be a part of a team responsible for quality assurance, clinical risk management advisory, audit, and continuous improvement activities to ensure best practice and improved outcomes for our consumers. As a provider in four states, you will have the added opportunity to travel to our different homes to share your expertise and guidance.
Key areas of responsibility:

Clinical Support: Provide clinical support and best practice advice to the Clinical Nurse Managers and their teams across all aspects of quality systems and clinical care.
Project Leadership: Lead and participate in quality improvement and innovative projects aimed at continuously enhancing the care provided to consumers working with key stakeholders to enact positive change.
Clinical Governance: Assist in Internal Audits, ACQSC regulatory activities, Coronial Requests, collection of quality indicators across all allocated sites, and identifying improvement opportunities in clinical care working within the Clinical Governance Framework.
Quality Assurance: Assist the Aged Care Leadership team in developing and reviewing clinical policies and procedures, supporting continuous improvement plans at both site and organizational levels, educating nurses on quality improvement, and promoting safe and high-quality care.
ANACC Review: Assist sites with ANACC review and submissions of requests for reclassifications to ensure sustainability and adequate resources are provided to all sites.

About You or Skills / Experience:

Unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
Experience as a CNM / FM within an Aged Care Facility and/or experience in Aged Care Clinical Governance role.
Strong organizational & time management skills with adaptability to change.
Ability to develop and implement effective quality management systems.
High level analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience in change management and influencing teams to gain positive outcomes.
Detailed knowledge of Aged Care legislation & Accreditation Standards.
