The College belongs to the community of ten schools across Australia called Good Samaritan Education (GSE). Established in 2011 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the mission of Good Samaritan Education is to sustain and nurture our Catholic schools as Good Samaritan Benedictine communities of learning.

About the Role A school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College seeks expressions of interest for the permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) TAS Teacher/STEM Project Leader position, starting in Term 1, 2025.
Applicants for this position must be highly effective educators with proven experience and success in leading STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) across all year groups.
The successful applicant must be qualified and ready to work in a dynamic and supportive College.
The College will provide an additional allocation (4 periods) of release time to support the delivery of this role.
This role will report to the Dean of Learning, collaborate with all faculty members, and work across all year groups.
About You The successful candidate will be an outstanding educator highly motivated to support Rosebank College's continued academic achievement by inspiring and developing innovative learning that engages and values every learner. All staff are expected to support the college's vision and goals as a learning community and contribute to all aspects of College life.
To be considered for this position, you must be a highly dedicated leader who meets the following criteria:
Proven experience teaching Technology and Applied Studies (TAS), focusing on STEM, Computing, Timber, Engineering Studies (Stage 6), or Design and Technology.Proven success in coordinating various successful STEM activities, including competitions, workshops, and clubs, to enhance students' engagement and interest in STEM fields.Demonstrate an understanding of how students learn, effective classroom teaching strategies, and the capacity to continually work with colleagues to improve teaching and learning.A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher.Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical analysis, and problem-solving skills.Proven experience with a focus on rigorous student learning, engagement, and growth.Proven ability to foster a collaborative, research, and data-driven approach to excellence in teaching and learning.Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team.Demonstrated success in driving student achievement and growth.Understand and show commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching.Possess proven ability to incorporate modern technologies into their teaching practice and convey passion for classroom innovation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Possess a valid Working with Children Check.A commitment to the child safeguarding principles.Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College.The Process If you meet this position's requirements, please click the Apply Now button to submit your online application to the Principal of Rosebank College.
